I Sing Only For You - Chapter 5

Mello finely arrived at the hall with an 1 till the show. Getting off his bike he went into to line to give his ticket in.

After about 40 minutes of waiting to give his ticket he realised his seat was on the first row. How did I not notice that before? He shook it off not wanting to worry about that. He entered the hall and found his place now all he had to do was wait.

After about 10 minutes the opening band came on the stage, in front of him was a red head guy with a black and white striped top on and jeans, must be the singer. To the left of him was the guitarist he had dark brown hair with a loose t-shirt on, interesting.. On the of the singer was the bass, he had bleach blond hair, and a checkered shirt. Behind them was a drummer but he couldn't make out what he looked like...

He took another look over the members realising he had seen them before. Where have I seen them? It must have been while I was at Wammy's house otherwise I would have recognised them by now.

He was pretty sure he hadn't seen them in Wammy's though, he must of known them outside of that hell hole.

The lights started to dim and the music started to play. Let's see how decent these guys are then.

'I could've wrote down

But would it stand out?

Mello's eyes shot open wise. He knew that voice and that song... It was Matt's.

'And then I turned myself inside out

Not only did he know that voice, but also that song. Matt wrote it while they where in Wammy's.

~flashback~

"Matt what are you doing?" The blond boy asked with a raised eyebrow

"I just wrote a song" He gave Mello a goofy smile.

"Let's hear it then"

'And I need a little more thunder,

The red head boy started to play the guitar and he could feel the beautiful voice go straight inside him and warm his heart. He closed his eyes enjoying the music.

'So I said,
I gotta comb my brain for the words to say,
And if it don't feel right then its a wasted night;

And the irony could be cut with a knife.

Matt was staring at Mello after he had finished playing for him.

"Matt that was beautiful.."

Just after Matt showed him the song he had found out he wrote it about him.

"How could I have forgotten your band Matt? How could I have forgotten you. The one I love. The one I hurt..."

He looked at the redhead before him, singing his heart out. As if he hadn't sung in years and had longed for this moment

He closed his eyes to enjoy that voice he hadn't heard in years, it still had the power to make your heart melt, and calm any person ever.

"Matt..." He could feel tears trying to tear through his eyes, how his missed him. The smell of cigarettes, annoying game theme songs. But all that made him still love him.

'I got a mind, grade-a catastrophe.
I stood strong,
It was the best for me.
My town is irrela-relavant.
My blue eyes match my green lies.
Yeah!

Mello opened his eyes after the song had finished. The crowd behind him was screaming, and I'm sure they had a lot of fan girls now.

He looked up to Matt to his eyes on him, he stared at Mello then gave him a massive smile.
