I Sing Only For You - Chapter 8

Matt had left the hall and gone to the hotel, he sat on the bed and pulled out a bottle of vodka and a shot glass. He filled his glass up and drank it.

The image of Charlie all over mello in his head still. He just didn't understand how this all happened. When he was singing mello was looking directly at him. Why would he go to Charlie first?

None of it made sense to him, he filled the shot glass up again and took another shot tilting his head back as he took in the drink.

Steve was standing right in front of him with a confused face. When did he get here? I didn't even see him come in, oh well.. He took another shot then looked at Steve.

"Hey.." Steve was still looking confuses but shook it off

"Matt I was just wondering if you've seen Charlie?"

Matt's face made a disgust face at the name, "no." he replied coldly.

"Oh well, You look pissed off, what's wrong?" he moved to sit on the bed next to him.

"I caught Charlie and mello making out." Matt frowned at the thought, it was like it was happening right now in front of him. He felt like his heart was breaking, just by the thought.

"Matt I'm s---" Matt put his hand up to stop him before taking another shot then pulling his cigs out.

"Don't apologize.. Was my fault for thinking he still cared, Never should have invited him."

"That's not true Matt."

He said that with so much passion, like he knew the future or he knew today wasn't a mistake, but to me it felt like it was. I turned to him with so many questions I wanted to ask but I couldn't.

"How do you know?"

He sighed. "Don't be so stupid matt, could you not see him when we finished playing? There was disappointment all over his face and regret, he still cares. He loves you. Even after the show I guess it was after the Charlie thing. But he was running around backstage then came up and asked me where you was. I've never seen him go through so much trouble over someone before. Don't you think it means something?"

I placed his goggles over his eyes, I had to, I felt tears coming and I couldn't cry.. Not in front of Steve. I felt like such a jerk he came back an told me the truth but I pushed him away.  No, it still didn't change things. He still cared abut Kira and Near more then me.

"that doesn't change the fact that he---"

I shut up before I said anymore, I couldn't tell anyone about Wammy's no matter what happened. Steve looked at me really confused. Instead of replying I just smiled. He got up and walked to the door and I sighed but quickly turned around again.

"oh yeh I forgot, the reason I came was to say, our performance tonight made a big impression so get writing matt. Cause we need to write our first album." 35

"SHIT! REALLY?"

He nodded in reply and left the room. Oh. Fuck. He didn't expect that. If mello didn't want him then that was okay, he wouldn't sing for him anymore, he would sing for his fans and friends instead. He got up and got out his note pad and started to scribble words all on the page.

Mello's POV~

Mello was getting impatient,  Sayu would not stop moaning and it was giving him a headache. Not to mention all of the men where being all pervy on her.

"How long is that old man going to take!" He growled

"Calm down mello, its like you just herd there will be no more chocolate in the world" Rod laughed

"Don't even joke about that.." he gave him a death glare.

"Boss, he's here." one of his men said looking at the security cameras

"Finely!"  mello just wanted the death note then he could catch Kira and see matt again. And make it up to him properly.

About an hour passed by and the death note was now at there base, his plan was falling into pieces the mafia was full of dumb asses that they wouldn't even know what was coming for them. Sooner or later, he would be out of here and no one would be able to do anything about it.
